We are thrilled to announce that Buttonfix Limited has been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade 2024. This builds on our success in 2020, when we received a Queen's Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
Buttonfix Limited is one of only 252 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise this year. Over the last three years, exports have consistently generated over 40% of our total sales. We have sold products in 34 countries and the USA is now our most significant market after the UK. Our thanks go to all our stockists around the globe who have helped us to receive this accolade.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed last year to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Award programme, now in its 58th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
In a proud moment for the entire Button-fix team, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of the London Borough of Islington, Paul Herbage MBE, visited the company to present the trophy and certificate.
While visiting Bengaluru (Bangalore) for one of their product design clients, Tony Wills and Brian Watson had the opportunity to meet the local Button-fix stockist, SM Corporation, and to visit their showroom in the Queens Road district.
Receiving a Queen's Award for Enterprise in Innovation in 2020 is the latest achievement for the design-led business behind Button-fix, and adds to the list of other product awards the company has won.
