"The product is so simple to use that it speaks for itself!" says Cathy Cain, owner of Scaeva Signs, who discovered a love for signwriting during the first coronavirus lockdown in Spring 2020.
What began as a series of home improvements such as house number signs quickly emerged as a business. "I wanted something brightly coloured as delivery drivers could never find our house! The feedback I received was really positive and so I started making signs in a range of bright colours, finished with gilded numbers, to sell via my website."
Scaeva Signs are made of top quality birch ply, specialist signwriting paint and 23 carat gold. Naturally, Cathy did not want to use any unsightly highly visible screws ruining the impact of the lovely eye-catching signs. This is where Button-fix came in:
"Button-fix was ideal as it provides a completely invisible fixing and so the sign itself looks seamless. It is robust enough to fix the sign securely to the wall and is also quick and easy to use. All my customers have to do is drill a hole in their wall, screw in the button and they’re ready to put up their new sign."
