Receiving a Queen's Award for Enterprise in Innovation in 2020 is the latest achievement for the design-led business behind Button-fix, and adds to the list of other product awards the company has won.
The annual awards administered by the government are the most prestigious for UK businesses. In 2020, Buttonfix Limited was one of only 66 businesses throughout the country that were recognised for outstanding achievement in innovation.
Innovation is at the core of everything the Button-fix team do - as you would expect from a company founded by product designers with substantial experience designing for the built environment. Since the first product launch in 2012, the range and capabilities of Button-fix has expanded each year, thanks to a programme of continuous product development.
The Queen's Award for Enterprise in Innovation will complement Button-fix’s UK, European and US patents and design awards including the 2017 Sign Industry Product of the Year and a Good Design Award from as far afield as Australia.
In a proud moment for the entire Button-fix team, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of the London Borough of Islington, Paul Herbage MBE, visited the company to present the trophy and certificate.
We are thrilled to announce that Buttonfix Limited has been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade 2024. This builds on our success in 2020, when we received a Queen's Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
While visiting Bengaluru (Bangalore) for one of their product design clients, Tony Wills and Brian Watson had the opportunity to meet the local Button-fix stockist, SM Corporation, and to visit their showroom in the Queens Road district.
