Button-fix Type 1 Flush

A fully recessed connector solution

For applications where panel-to-panel contact is required. It fits a simple oval rebate and can be recessed into the edge of a panel of at least 28mm thick or the face of a panel of at least 18mm thick.

Both parts of the connector are moulded from 30% glass filled nylon PA6 - a strong and robust engineering polymer. As a general guide, four Button-fix Type 1 Flush fasteners on a vertical panel will support loads weighing up to a maximum of 100kg (220lbs), provided that the screws and substrate are properly matched and all other installation instructions are complied with. Manufactured in the UK.

Engage the Buttons in the Fix and slide the panel down by 15mm, until Button-fix goes 'click'. The Type 1 Flush Button-fix can be configured for sideways assembly too.

Accessories for

Button-fix Type 1 Flush

Button Marker for Type 1 & Type 3

The Button Marker for both Type 1 and Type 3 helps to quickly and accurately align the Button-fix installation, reducing the need for measuring and marking out.

Snap a marker into each Fix, then position the second panel and press firmly. The marker points will leave indents in the panel surface, which can be used as pilot guides for the Buttons.
