Adhesive specialists JIT demonstrate how best to glue Type 1 Bonded Fixes to compact laminate panels, using Parabond Fast - a high bond polymer adhesive.
JIT have prepared a guide giving a step-by-step description of how they used Parabond Fast, a high bond polymer adhesive formulated for use with a wide range of construction materials, to create a robust mounting for high pressure laminate wall and ceiling panels. Follow the download link to obtain your own copy. The process has been tested in the laboratories of the Parabond manufacturer, DL Chemicals, and in a real-life installation by Eurowall in Santiago, Chile.
Using Type 1 Bonded Button-fix with Parabond Fast adhesive allows compact laminate panels as thin as 6mm to be invisibly mounted, with no visible screws or rivet fixings. Ideal for durable and water-resistant interior cladding, everywhere from receptions to washrooms
Parabond adhesives, along with other specialist tapes, adhesives and sealants, are available in the UK from JIT.
